Golgotha for soprano and ensemble, with text by Jo Frank, was commissioned by the independent Berlin based opera ensemble  Novoflot as part of the project Die Harmonielehre 2 – OpernCall (for the 70th anniversary of Arnold Schönberg’s death). An Opera-installation planned on the glass facade of the Academy of Arts at Pariser Platz in Berlin, as a commentary on the 3. act of Schönberg’s opera Moses und Aron.

Instrumentation:

Soprano, Bass Clarinet, electric Bass, Wurlitzer, Vibraphone and Piano.
